Research, programmes and proposals

A foundation in research and development

Aneel holds a Master’s degree in Demography, with experience in population research, development programmes, monitoring and evaluation, proposals and reporting. He has worked with VSO International, DAI Global LLC, Muslim Hands UK, Muslim Aid UK and government institutions.

His background in demography adds a practical question to each assignment: who is the work intended to serve, and what evidence will show that it is making a difference?

His work spans education, youth services, community advocacy, women’s rights, family development and humanitarian programmes. Remote assignments include business, consulting, real estate and other sectors, serving clients in the United States, United Kingdom, Canada, Africa and the Middle East.

Programme and business assignments

Selected assignments

Assignments include a business case for a digital registration scheme to improve social-service access for people experiencing homelessness in Toronto, and evaluation plans for Alabama’s 21st Century Community Learning Centers programme. Business assignments include government-contract proposals, capability statements, compliance reviews and pricing documentation. International work includes programme designs, grant applications, monitoring frameworks and technical reports.

Approach to proposals and delivery

Working with you

Start with your context

Founders, programme directors and business teams may bring a new idea, an approaching deadline or experience spread across reports and team knowledge. The work brings these inputs into a clear response.

Structure the response

Each assignment starts with the opportunity, organisational capacity and available evidence. The response is structured around evaluator requirements, the people it serves, delivery responsibilities and what must be measured and reported.

Check evidence and commitments

The approach supports claims with evidence, distinguishes proposed commitments from established facts, and aligns the technical narrative and budget before submission.

Research, prospecting and proposal frameworks

Grant, donor and procurement research matches opportunities to your services, priorities, qualifications and capacity. Donor prospecting and solicitation reviews produce shortlists with eligibility requirements, key dates and decision inputs.

Deliverables include proposal outlines, compliance matrices, evidence and input lists, review schedules, programme and donor frameworks, theories of change, monitoring plans and reporting tools.
